SolidWorks Designer
» Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)
Responsible for interpretation of design specifications while being able to apply those specifications to completing project designs and/or modifications, detailed drawings, manufacturing documentation, as well as BOMs within the planned time schedule as required for customer orders using SolidWorks software from sketches, layouts, notes, communications, etc.
» Qualifications
Two years of drafting education, or equivalent experience, preferably in SolidWorks. AS degree in Mechanical drafting with SolidWorks and machine design experience preferred. Must be very computer literate, including proficiency with SolidWorks, MS Word and Excel. Ability to interact with clients regarding engineering/manufacturing products and/or service needs. Effective time management, decision making, human relations, and organization skills Strong sense of team spirit, evident among working relationships with management, peers and subordinates. Ability to read, comprehend and create mechanical drawings in accordance with current ANSI standards.
