Download Software - The SolidWorks Subscription Support page will have the latest release of the two most recent major SolidWorks Service Packs available for download. In the above example, when SP 2.0 is released, SP 0.0 would be removed from the list of available SolidWorks Service Pack downloads. This allows you to choose between the latest version with the most recent fixes, and the prior version with the most customer exposure. Each SolidWorks Service Pack includes a Date Posted field. You can use this information to help you decide whether to download a SolidWorks Service Pack now or wait until it has been available and in-use for a longer period of time. You should also refer to the Maintenance Release Notes for each SolidWorks Service Pack to decide if you need to update based on the fixes that it contains.

Maintenance Release Notes - This document lists the problems and enhancements that have been addressed in the development code for the next Service Pack/version of SolidWorks. These problems and enhancements may have been reported in any previous major SolidWorks release or Service Pack. The SPR # is a tracking number which is issued to the individual who reported the issue to SolidWorks. As long as the fixes for the listed SPR #s pass quality assurance testing, they will be available in the specified SolidWorks Service Pack/version.
