The basic steps to accomplish the above:

- Click FILE & PACK AND GO.
- Check mark the "Include Drawings" in upper left corner.
- This will include all drawings of every file listed.
- To rename the files, double click the SolidWorks file, under the heading "Save to Name."
- Enter new file name in the "Rename…" pop-up box
- ex. drawing 2.
- Click OK
- Each file that you have changed the file name on will turn green.
- Repeat steps 4-6 until ALL files have turned green
- Click BROWSE for a save to folder
- Click SAVE.
Did you notice the "Add Prefix", "Add Suffix", and "Select/Replace" options? This is good to use if you want to archive an old revision and keep the same file name but append the revision text.
ex. 1000.SLDASM -> 1000_RevA.SLDASM
Another option is to send it to an archived zip.
