Customer Support Representative
Customer Support Representatives are usually the first company contact to communicate with prospects, and responsible for continued relations with clients. Therefore CSR positions are responsible for maintaining, developing, and growing client relationships through meetings and conscientious telephone, internet and fax techniques.
» Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)
- CSR's are responsible for the initial stages of the sales cycle, including gathering customer information and requirements, qualifying leads, passing opportunities to the field, and following up with clients.
- Responsible for partnering with ASA’s, TSA’s and Marketing personnel to increase sales and awareness of EngATech’s solutions and services within the region.
- Promote EngATech’s solutions and services through aggressive telephone canvassing, fax and email blasts and website management.
- Recruit prospective clients to seminar events.
- Make outbound calls on special marketing programs within the region as developed by SolidWorks Sales and Marketing.
- Provide ongoing contact with current clients providing service on renewals enabling “upselling” opportunities.
- Prepare client requests for quote generation.
- Prepare client purchase orders for order generation.
- Maintain an accurate sales database, including graphical displays of pipeline numbers, and items sold.
- Organize and document for all market development funds or products for events, etc.
- Organization and upkeep of all incoming leads, references, etc. with data entry, alarms, and initial contact.
» Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required.
- One to three years of high tech telemarketing or customer service experience.
- BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrable ability to develop good product knowledge to properly position a technical product.
- Must demonstrate excellent phone, computer and follow-up skills.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and phone in order to interact effectively with EngATech sales, management and clients.
- Experience with contact management software such as ACT and/or Goldmine desired.
- Experience in conducting web conferences is desired.
- Knowledge of the MCAD or related industries and competitive products is a big plus.
