As a top supplier for Target and other major retailers, Merrick will be using infoSpring’s Data Collection software to integrate their existing Macola System with RFID Data. This is in preparation to meet Target’s requirements for their RFID Pilot program that will be testing all their shipments sent to a single distribution center. In the preliminary pilot, all cartons and pallets need to be shipped with RFID that meet Target’s data encoding requirements.
Merrick plans on leveraging infoSpring’s experience in warehouse management and production processing to standardize their business processes in preparation for future RFID needs of other trading partners.
