Teledyne Technologies Agrees to Corporate Pricing for Process Orchestration Software from Ingenuus
(PRWEB) May 1, 2006 –- Ingenuus Software Inc., the leading supplier of Enterprise Process Orchestration (EPO) software, announced today, that Teledyne Technologies of Los Angeles, California has agreed to a corporate pricing schedule to be used by all its divisions worldwide. The value of the agreement was not disclosed.
Teledyne Microelectronics, a division of Teledyne Technologies, has been successfully using the Ingenuus Process Orchestrator since 2002 to manage complex bills of materials, part number assignment, and contract manufacturing management processes. A recent expansion of the use of the Process Orchestrator to include safety and project processes, and the ongoing successful automation of established processes, has piqued the interest of several other Teledyne Divisions.
“We have been very pleased with Ingenuus,” says Laura Ramirez, Document Control Manager at Teledyne Microelectronics. Currently Teledyne is processing 50% more engineering change orders in the same amount of time before using Process Orchestrator. They have also eliminated the need for a drawing library – all documents are electronic and available online. Teledyne’s Mexico based manufacturing facility also uses the Process Orchestrator. When a part or document change is proposed, they are automatically notified and when the change is released they are again notified and have instant access to the electronic files. Recent ROI studies indicate that Microelectronics is saving close to $1 million a year.
The Ingenuus Process Orchestrator is a powerful new kind of process automation platform that makes creating and managing processes that become real applications easier and more cost efficient. Unlike other companies that require separate tools to map processes, build applications, and encode business rules, Process Orchestrator provides everything you need to build a flow, create user screens, and construct business rules in one single too. By providing a platform for processes to integrate and interact, the Process Orchestrator creates end-to-end business processes that can span an entire global organization – including the extended supply and manufacturing chain.
