Silanis ESignature Solution Selected for Air Force Enterprise Platform
Silanis Technology, the premier provider of e-signing solutions to DoD, is pleased to announce the US Air Forces selection of its ApproveIt® XHTML Server solution to enable Web-based form approvals through the Global Combat Support System (GCSS), a service-oriented architecture that gives war fighters instant, secure access to logistics information worldwide.
The GCSS provides Air Force users with instant access to wide-ranging applications, from civil engineering to space support - ultimately, providing real-time visibility into supply management, troop deployment and much more. This integrated approach helps to provide timely, accurate and trusted logistics information to personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The first two applications to use Silanis e-signature solutions will be acquisition, as part of the Purchase Requisition Process System (PRPS), and finance, as part of the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS).
Silanis ApproveIt XHTML Server allows organizations to streamline and improve operations by eliminating paper from the approval process. It integrates electronic approval and signature capabilities into Web processes through corporate Internet, Extranet or Intranet sites.
The US Army and Joint Chiefs of Staff have enterprise licenses for Silanis e-signature solutions. The Air Force Recruiting Service and Tinker Air Force Base are among other Air Force customers, in addition to civilian government clients such as the US General Services Administration, United States Postal Service and US Mint.
Silanis electronic signatures and audit trails are secured with digital signature technology, providing seamless operation with deployed applications such as e-mail, workflow and content management systems.
Silanis XHTML e-signature solution complements the ApproveIt® Desktop solution, allowing organizations to deploy electronic signatures within desktop and Web applications using a common technology and a single electronic credential such as the Silanis ePersona™.
