Both the OS X Client Screen Saver and OS X Client Service can now run natively on either PowerPC- or Intel-based Mac computers.

"The OS X Client used to run at about 230 MFLOPS (million floating point operations per second) on the Intel Core Duo. We've benchmarked the new package running at up to 497 MFLOPS. The JIVA Grid Computing Framework is a low cost, secure volunteer computing system that allows businesses and other organizations to run computationally exhaustive work on their unused desktop computers and servers.
