PositiveWare to Seek Investors
(PRWEB) November 19, 2005 -- PositiveWare, a Web-based, employee performance management solution, has been chosen as one of six companies to present investment opportunities to potential angel investors at the Rockies Venture Club’s first stand-alone investor event.
Founded in January 2004, PositiveWare provides companies of all sizes the ability to align individual employee activities with the strategic goals of the company, and track through a web-based application. It was named the 2005 Colorado Software and Internet Association’s Rookie of the Year in May.
Citing faster-than-expected growth, PositiveWare intends to use private funds for marketing and further development of the web-based application in the U.S. and internationally.
“In just a few months, PositiveWare has grown exponentially and our research shows demand will continue to grow. We are poised to meet the demand,” said David Fitzpatrick, CFO.
Now in its third release, PositiveWare boasts clients including Avaya, Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC), and Vericept, Inc. Using the software to align strategic goals to employee behavior, client companies have realized an increase in productivity of up to 30 percent in the first few months of usage.
In June, the company released a Japanese translation of the application with Tokyo-based Kozo Keikaku Engineering (KKE). Impressed with the product, KKE announced this week that they will be the exclusive Japanese distributor for the Denver-based PositiveWare. Fitzpatrick estimates a $900 million market for performance management technology solutions in Japan.
The six chosen companies will present beginning at 2 p.m. at the Rockies Venture Club Investor Fair at the Denver Marriott City Center, 1701 California St, Denver. Information is available at http://www.rockiesventureclub.org or by calling 303-831-4174.
