Winding multiple width cores on the same shaft has never been easier. Convertech's patented GlideLock™ clutched rollers allow rolls to slide on and off the shaft with ease. Multiple width cores (one inch or wider) can be loaded on to the shaft simultaneously, allowing tensions from under .25 PLI. Once all the cores are loaded, the shaft is pressurized and all of the cores lock independently to allow precise tension control on every individual core.

Because Convertech's differential winding shaft locks cores independently, there is no need for cones or spacers. GlideLock™ clutched rollers grip cores tightly and eliminate core dust, core wobble, and side-to-side movement.
