(PRWEB) November 3, 2005 -- Learn.com, the leader in creating and projecting power-on-demand e-learning, announced today that Ted Schneider, former Director of Product Management at Pathlore Software, (acquired by SumTotal Systems on October 4, 2005) has been named the new Senior Vice President of Product Management at Learn.com.

Before joining the Learn.com Team, Schneider spent over five years at Pathlore Software where he became an expert in the features, operation, and deployment processes associated with the enterprise learning space. In addition, Schneider led product management for seven years at Rockwell International and, then, the automation division of Eaton Corporation. For both firms, he spearheaded the launch of units that introduced products for PCs and networks as well as application software. Prior to that, Schneider managed engineering and system integration projects for large-scale automation systems at Davenport, Iowa-based PCT, Inc. Schneider also worked for more than ten years at GE Medical Systems in a variety of operations and engineering roles and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

“Ted Schneider is an excellent addition to the Learn.com team. With Ted’s direction, we will increase our effectiveness by providing our clients with a direct link and clear visibility into our product direction. Ted will also refine our software development processes and client collaboration community so that they are the benchmarks by which all others will be measured in our industry. Ted’s proven leadership, client-facing skills – and his deep knowledge of the e–learning industry are already being put to positive use in his short time with us,” said JW Ray, Chief Operating Officer at Learn.com.

“In my opinion Learn.com is focused on doing everything right. The employees, the growth, and energy within Learn.com make it the best company to work for as the e-learning industry grows. Learn.com is an innovator and trendsetter, and I can not imagine working for another e-learning company ever again. Learn.com knows what it takes to be Number one, the roadmap is rock solid, and the Learn.com products will positively impact every e-learning client,” said Schneider.
