June 15, 2005 -- SWANTECH Inc, a leading provider of advanced machine healthcare monitoring solutions and analysis services, today announced that James Kemp has joined the company as senior vice president, business development for the company’s power generation sales division.

Kemp was selected for the position because of his particular expertise in asset reliability and predictability as well as his experience in the electric utility, process engineering and power generation industries.

Prior to joining SWANTECH, Kemp was a senior vice president of engineering for DKRW Energy, where he was responsible for all engineering activities on projects that included an LNG terminal, coals-to-liquid and large wind power projects. Kemp has also served as senior executive vice president and chief technology officer for TransAlta, and was responsible for all corporate operations there. In addition, he has held international executive positions with both Tractebel Power Inc. and Enron Corporation. Kemp received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas and is a registered professional engineer in Texas.
