This is part of INOVx’s long-term commitment to ever improving asset management solutions for the process industry.

RealityLINx Virtualization software is designed specifically to provide the most simplified way to access and navigate the immense amount of enterprise asset data using a robust and flexible integration environment based on the accurate and precise virtual reality view of a facility. When coupled with job specific features, RealityLINx users have reported considerable productivity gains of up to 2 to 3 hours per day per user as well as significant benefits resulting from more informed decision making. The latest release of RealityLINx has new capabilities most notably role-based features supporting multiple workspaces and multiple roles, each with its own set of access rights and rules. Each workspace can have its own asset hierarchy, saved views, search definitions, and display filters permitting alignment with jobs and functional disciplines. For example, a maintenance worker may view assets based on SAP PM, with ready access to SAP work order and notification features while an inspector may view assets based on the inspection routes with ready access to the reliability system such as Meridium.

Additionally, access rights are now more granular. Administrators can define create/modify/delete access rights on a per asset-type basis. Several other new functions and enhancements have been added including searchable saved views, advanced search capabilities, display filters, and synchronization tools with external design engineering systems -- just to name a few.

Included with this release are updates to RealityLINx adapters for integrating with enterprise data systems such as SAP PM. Also there are enhancements to the import and export capability from CAD systems such as Intergraph PDS.

Shell Canada’s Scotford Upgrader is an early release site for RealityLINx. “We wanted to take advantage of the new features for our planned turn around. We established a tight schedule and INOVx delivered on their promises” said Norm Blatz, Senior Staff Inspector, Shell Canada Limited.
