The 5.3 edition includes enhanced requirements management, files and documents (repository), as well as an updated user’s guide.

What makes this announcement exciting is that this upgraded version of Analyst Pro really makes a project manager’s job of tracking requirements and specifications easier. Many software engineers and project managers use Word processors and Spreadsheets to track requirements. While better than nothing, that method is inadequate for project tracking and navigation.

The previous version of Analyst Pro (5.2), which was released December 19, 2005, was well received by the development community. The software was Jolt finalist in 2003.
