FunctionSIM announces RecurDyn V7R2

(PRWEB) February 9, 2009 -- FunctionSIM LLC is pleased to announce the release of RecurDyn V7R2, a leading Computer-Aided Engineering Software for motion and stress analysis, from FunctionBay, Inc.

RecurDyn V7R2 enables a new generation of Integrated Multi-Physics modeling by combining motion simulation, stress analysis, and control system design in one graphical, solution environment. By reading Finite-Element meshes directly into RecurDyn V7R2, users have the ease and convenience of performing one simulation to obtain large-displacement and small-deflection behavior of physical systems, improving product design, performance and quality.

Enhanced solid-contact modeling, expanded time and frequency-based solutions, and an extensible, programmable API, called RecurDyn/ProcessNet, are other highlights of the features that are new and improved in RecurDyn V7R2. RecurDyn's fast, robust solver has also been optimized to maximize solution efficiency on standard computer workstations.

RecurDyn is currently being used by many global Fortune 500 companies to aid in the design of vehicle powertrains, consumer products such as printers, circuit breakers and lawn mowers, and is widely used by motorsports and NASCAR ™ teams to maximize engine performance.

FunctionSIM distributes RecurDyn throughout North America. For more information, please visit FunctionSIM at www.functionsim.com.
