File-Makers.com Fills Growing Need for Business Intelligence and Data Mining With Rapid Development Database Applications

(PRWEB) April 14, 2006 -- Three entrepreneurs have launched File-Makers.com, a custom database development service, to take advantage of the growing demand for small- to medium-sized business' need for business intelligence systems that can be developed quickly and inexpensively, and that allow management to make good business decisions.

The company takes advantage of FileMaker (tm) software's emerging market dominance. Considered a rapid development platform for small to medium enterprises, FileMaker solutions are easily developed and yield results in a fraction of the time required for competing programs such as Microsoft Access (tm) with no sacrifice in functionality. Increasingly, small- and medium-sized businesses seek a quick, powerful but inexpensive way to organize their data and make decisions.

"Business intelligence (BI) software is one of the most strategic investments that a business can make. Using data mining, reporting and querying, BI helps businesses understand, monitor, manage and respond to specified metrics. This type of software empowers decision-makers — and staff — to connect the dots around key business numbers in a way previously unimaginable." Lena West, Business Intelligence: The Crystal Ball of Champions, April 12, 2006.

File-Makers was launched by three FileMaker application developers who have combined 36+ years of small business operational experience and 20+ years of FileMaker solution development experience. Each one brings special qualities that make the new company unique.

Lee Strong has been a database developer for more than 15 years. With a background in engineering, he brings a huge amount of specific FileMaker application knowledge to the company.

Andrew Cohen, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in Management Information Systems, and helps client companies with optimized workflow as well as specific database development.

Forrest Sass holds an engineering degree and has developed database applications for over five years.

File-Makers is a full-service custom database development group specializing in FileMaker application development. The company also upgrades older databases to the much more capable current FileMaker version 8. Editorial contact is Theorem, www.theoremservices.com, 925-462-5280.
