20-20 Technologies launches new 20-20 CAP? Studio version 3.0 at NeoCon
(PRWEB) June 12, 2006 -- 20-20 CAP Studio™, the industry leading furniture planning software used by the most sophisticated contract furniture dealerships across North America, now offers even more powerful design and specification tools, helping furniture design professionals overcome the increasingly complex nature of configuring and specifying furniture products.
The numerous feature updates to CAP Studio™ 3 include both design and specification enhancements. An entirely new set of design assist tools, called NewGen automation tools, are now available. These advanced planning tools are known as:
- PanelBuilder – For building and modifying panel configurations.
- PowerBuilder – For configuring electrical power within panel configurations.
- PowerRouter – For routing power from panel to panel within a drawing or space plan.
- AutoHardware – Enhanced to accommodate new panel systems not designed on a 90° angle.
- Advanced Validation – Advanced design validation tools based on manufacturer-specific design rules.
“The new automation tools built into the 3.0 release will enable designers to space plan complex products with confidence. The advanced validation and design assistance tools ensure space plans are completed accurately and within manufacturer specifications,” said Steve Compton, National Sales Manager – North America, Commercial Division.
The release of 20-20 Worksheet™ replaces 20-20 CAP Studio’s™ traditional specification tool CAP Worksheet™. One of the most powerful tools now available is the Global Options feature, which enables product specifiers to select common finishes and options that are subsequently applied to multiple products within the project.
“The software is an integrated package of applications that automate the sales, design and specification processes within a contract dealership. It has the tools and capabilities to help customers get the job done completely, accurately and within budget,” said Compton.
20-20 Technologies’ staff will demonstrate its new 20-20 CAP Studio™ at this year’s NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, June 12th - 14th, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. 20-20 software seminars will also run throughout the days of the event. Visitors will find the 20-20 Technologies’ booth on the seventh floor of The Merchandise Mart, suite number 7030.
